Jesus wants to fill your heart, not just certain parts. That is His intention for you, but you must let Him. It is not that Christ is growing in us; He is complete, but we grow in His knowledge and influence. This is what it means for Christ to be filling your heart. A true believer is one who allows Jesus to fill every aspect of their heart, mind, and soul. When Jesus has filled your heart, there will be no room for the devil to perform his fiendish enterprises. Sadly, many of us have allowed some room for the devil, from where he tries to influence us.

The more you fellowship with the Holy Ghost, the more He fills your heart. The more you give in to the flesh, the more you give room to the devil, who obnoxiously tries to take over. Saturate your heart with the word of God and resist the devil. The more the influence of Christ fills you, the more of His unction you will have to function.

Confession: Lord Jesus, even as I open up my heart and yield to You, I ask humbly that You fulfill Your desire to fill my heart. I deliberately and consciously set my heart and mind under Your influence, relying on Your grace to assist me. I no longer walk after the flesh nor listen to the dictates of the devil, but I grow in the knowledge of Jesus and walk according to the will of His Holy Spirit.
