Selfish, sinful desires might be resisting God, and God is not One to force Himself on you. You need to put self aside and allow the wishes or will of God to affect your life.

You need to set your love on God because He loves you more than you love yourself. When God can find rest in your soul through your humility and deep acceptance, you will surely live a restful life. When Jesus is received into the boat, the storms cease.

Prayer:I break every selfishness and fleshly desire that is preventing me from setting my love on Jesus.
