HOUSE OF PRAYER

  • Matthew 21:13 KJV "And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."

A vacuum cleaner doesn't need to feel like cleaning; it's what it is made to do. Your body is for the divine purpose of prayer because your body is the temple of God (see. 1 Corinthians 3:16), and God's temple is consecrated for spiritual exercises, especially prayer.

If we are primarily using our bodies for something else, we are not different from the merchant men that Jesus cast out of the temple. Jesus saw the wrong purpose, and He made sure to declare the real deal: God's temple is for spiritual consecration.

Confession:Thank you, Lord, for making my body your abode. Thank you for revealing your divine purpose for this body. I consecrate myself primarily to the purpose of prayer; every spirit of buying and selling is cast out in the name of Jesus.
