It could be through a still small voice, a nudge in your spirit, an inner witness, through the scripture, through a sermon, through other people, by signs and patterns, through your mind, a discomfort or uncertainty in your soul, your conscience, and through your dreams (the most basic way).

The point is, the problem can never be from God. Our ears or faculties for reception of God's message may be blocked by the noise of worldly cares or lusts, distracted by challenges, corrupted by habitual sin and the guilt that comes with it, anxiety, restlessness, unrighteousness, and other forms of spiritual disconnection. Deafness basically bespeaks disconnection on your part.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, every disconnection caused by spiritual deafness is fixed. Help me to perceive when you are speaking to me and to carry out your will.
